Krystal and I are so very grateful to all those that took part in our latest adoption fundraising campaign: Studio time for adoption donation. We have been blessed to be able to have a very nice recording studio, and what an honor it was to open it up to those that needed to get some recording completed, while raising some financial support to adopt little Alina out of the orphanage in Russia.
John Martin Keith was able to put some drums on recordings he had started years ago. Katie Miner finished up vocals for her Christmas album coming out this year. David Niemi, all the way from Wisconsin, dropped in to record one of his latest compositions. The husband and wife duo, My Anchor Holds, recorded guitars and vocals for their next EP, as well as the husband and wife duo, Adam and Karina Beck have scheduled some time.
Because of these artists’ support, we are happy to announce enough money was raised to get us through the first part of the adoption process: home study fees, background checks, psych evaluations, and adoption education.
We now will be moving on to phase two of the adoption process, where our agency will be sending the paperwork to Russia to be approved, and start the process of getting Alina ready for us to visit. This will be a very exciting time for us as a family, but it will come with more financial commitments – approximately $25,000. Therefore, we will continue to keep the studio open for adoption donations during the month of November & December. Contact Us if you would like to book some time.
